We are still hiring for a 2nd Shift CNC Machinists! Responsibilities will include reading blueprints, setting up and operating CNC machines, and maintaining quality and tolerance standards.The hours for this position are 3:15pm-1:45am on Monday – Thursday; so every weekend is a long weekend! If you have some experience in machining, a great work ethic, the ability to read blueprints, and know how to set up and operate CNC machines, please consider Northwest Tool!

Design 2 Part – Schaumberg, Ill.

On May 9th and 10th, we will be set up at the Design-2-Part Show in Schaumberg, Ill. If you have tooling and machining needs, stop out and visit us in booth #510.  The show runs Wednesday, May 9th from 9:30-4:00 and Thursday, May 10th from 9:30-3:30. We look forward to making many new connections!

Haas ST-20 Delivered

So what was all the excitement yesterday? We had our newest machine, the Haas ST-20, was delivered. On top of that, we also moved our Mazak Quick Turn 18 over to the Northeast bay where the Haas is located. The Quick Turn 18 runs a high production job, and this Haas will be used for the same. Now, to get it up and running!

Northwest Tool Hosts IEEE

This evening, we hosted a group from the IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, for a tour. The group of engineers is comprised of students and professionals, with a goal of gaining knowledge about different technological fields. Northwest Tool utilizes a variety of machinery which is run using computer programming.
